8.1. Overview

What are azzapp integrations?

The CRM integration feature allows you to synchronize your azzapp contacts with the CRM platform of your choice. Currently, azzapp supports integration with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zapier.

CRM synchronization is one-way, from azzapp to the CRM. Contacts, updates, and changes made in azzapp can be synchronized to the connected CRM. Changes made directly in the CRM are not synchronized back to azzapp.

CRM integration is available as part of the azzapp+ subscription. If you do not yet have an active subscription, you can try the feature using the free trial.

Accessing CRM Integrations

CRM integrations can be configured from the azzapp WebApp.

To access CRM integrations:

  1. Log into your azzapp account on the WebApp.

  2. Open the Integrations tab from the sidebar menu.

  3. Click Add Integration.

  4. Select the CRM platform you want to connect.

Managing CRM Integrations

CRM integrations can be managed by the Card Owner or by users with Admin permissions.

A Card can have multiple CRM integrations connected at the same time. Currently, azzapp supports one active connection of each CRM type per Card:

  • One HubSpot connection

  • One Salesforce connection

  • One Zapier connection

CRM connections can be disconnected and reconnected at any time.

The Integrations screen displays the current connection status and the date and time of the last successful synchronization for each connected CRM.

Synchronization Modes

azzapp supports two synchronization modes:

Manual Sync

When Manual Sync is enabled, contacts are synchronized only when you click Sync Now.

When a CRM is connected using Manual Sync, all existing contacts can be synchronized by clicking Sync Now.

Automatic Sync

When Automatic Sync is enabled, azzapp automatically synchronizes contacts whenever:

  • a new contact is added;

  • an existing contact is updated.

When Automatic Sync is activated, all existing contacts are synchronized immediately.

Contact Data Synchronization

CRM synchronization includes all contacts stored in your azzapp account. It is not currently possible to select individual contacts for synchronization.

All contact information is synchronized, including contact details, notes, tags, custom fields, meeting information, and other contact-related data.

Avatar images and logos are not synchronized to the CRM.

When a previously synchronized contact is updated in azzapp, the corresponding CRM contact is updated during the next synchronization. azzapp does not create a new CRM contact for every update.

Duplicate Contact Handling

CRM platforms use their own duplicate-detection and contact-matching rules to prevent multiple records from being created for the same person.

While azzapp is designed to minimise duplicate creation during synchronization, the final handling of duplicate contacts depends on the configuration and behaviour of the connected CRM.

If you use customized duplicate-detection settings in your CRM, synchronization results may differ from the default behaviour described in this guide.

Synchronization Errors

If a synchronization cannot be completed, azzapp displays an error message describing the issue.

Common causes include:

  • expired CRM authorization;

  • insufficient CRM permissions;

  • temporary CRM service outages;

  • connection or network issues.

Once the issue has been resolved, synchronization can be performed again.
