5.1. Overview
Overview
It acts as a private CRM, automatically recording every contact you receive through your Cards and enriching interactions with useful context.
How contacts are created
Contacts can be added in several ways:
Through Card exchanges (QR code or link sharing)
Via ShareBack responses
Using the in-app azzapp AI Scanner to scan paper business cards, badges, email signatures, and similar materials
Imported from your phone contacts
Added manually
This allows you to keep all your networking activity in one place.
Contacts linked to Cards
Every contact in azzapp is linked to a specific Card.
This helps you organize contacts by context, such as:
Personal vs professional use
Different business activities
Departments or teams
Separate brands or projects
Where to find your contacts
You can access your contacts from the Contacts tab.
Mobile app
Displays a global contact list across all Cards in your account
Can be filtered by individual Card
Web platform
Displays the contact list for the Card currently selected
Phone contacts integration
azzapp works alongside your phone contacts:
You can save azzapp contacts to your phone
You can import contacts from your phone into azzapp
There is no automatic synchronization between azzapp Contacts and your phone contacts, so each list is managed independently and changes made in one will not update the other.
