5.2. Adding contacts
Overview
With azzapp, you can add contacts in several convenient ways, depending on how you meet people and how you prefer to work.
All contacts are saved in your Contacts list and linked to one of your Cards.
Add contacts through Card exchange
(Currently available on the mobile app)
When you scan another person’s azzapp Card QR code or open their Card link:
You can add them to your Contacts using the “Add to my contacts” button
If you have multiple Cards, you can choose which Card the new contact will be linked to
This is one of the fastest ways to exchange details with other azzapp users.
Receive contacts via ShareBack
When someone scans your Card QR code or opens your Card link, they can choose to send you their own details using ShareBack.
Their contact is automatically added to your Contacts
It is linked to the Card you shared during the exchange
This allows contacts to come directly to you, without manual entry.
Add contacts using azzapp AI Scanner
Use the built-in AI Scanner to capture details from:
Paper business cards
Event badges
Email signatures
Similar printed or digital contact sources
How to access
Tap Scan on the Home screen
Or tap Add a new contact from the Contacts tab
How it works
azzapp reads the scanned details and auto-fills the contact form
You can review and edit the information before saving
Choose which Card the contact will be linked to
Optional
Enable “Send your azzapp Card to this contact” to send your Card by email to the email address in the contact form. If the contact includes multiple email addresses, your Card will be sent to all of them.
Import contacts from your phone
(Currently available on the mobile app)
You can import contacts directly from your phone contact list.
How to access
Open the Contacts tab
Tap Add a new contact
Import contacts one by one or multiple contacts in a batch
Imported contacts are added as they appear in your phone and can be edited later.
During import, you can:
Select which Card the contacts will be linked to
Enable “Send your azzapp Card to this contact” to send your Card by email to the email addresses of the imported contacts
Add contacts manually
You can also create contacts manually.

Enter the contact details manually
Select which Card the contact will be linked to

Enable “Send your azzapp Card to this contact” to send your Card by email to the email address entered in the contact form. If the contact includes multiple email addresses, your Card will be sent to all of them.
